Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes so that the oil inside the bike warms up, becoming less viscous and facilitating the subsequent drainage. Unscrew the lower drain bolt, located near the footpeg, and collect the used oil in a container. You should have drained just over 700 ml of lubricant, so prepare the same amount of new 15W-50 oil for four-stroke engines. Clean the drain plug with kitchen paper and screw it back in place. Unscrew the filler bolt and add the new lubricant, which will be a much lighter colour than the used oil.
