Heating: start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the oil, making it less dense and facilitating drainage. Draining: place the motorcycle on a flat surface and remove the skid plate if necessary. Unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine and let the oil drain into a container. Cleaning and replacement: clean the drain plug and washer, removing any metal residues. Reinstall the drain plug and washer, tightening to 20 Nm with a torque wrench. Refilling: open the fill cap and pour in the recommended new oil (for example, 0.8 liters of 15W-50 engine oil). Close the fill cap once the oil has been added. Level check: start the engine and let it run for a minute. Check the oil level with the gearbox oil level check screw. If oil comes out, the level is correct; otherwise, add more until reaching the appropriate level.
