How to reset the service light on the KTM 790R

If you have just carried out the regular service on your KTM 790R but the service warning light continues to appear on the panel, then all you have to do is proceed with a simple and quick manual reset. Let's find out how. First insert the key and turn on the ignition. Then press the "Mode" button on the left side of the panel twice consecutively. At this point, press the "Set" button several times until the maintenance item appears on the display. Finally, hold down the "Set" button and release it when the reset is complete.

How do you replace the instrument cluster on the BMW R 1200 GS?

In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW R 1200 GS you have to unscrew the screws that secure the windshield, removing it completely; at this point, the three seeger rings that secure the instrument panel to the frame must be removed. At this point it will be possible to remove the instrument panel from inside its housing by disconnecting the connector at the rear. At this point it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the rear part of the instrumentation, removing the old dials and the display. In this way it will be possible to insert the new ones, reinstalling all the instruments.
