To replace the piston on the KTM SX 125, loosen the bolts that secure the seat and the side fairings at the front of the bike. Once these components are removed, you can unscrew the bolts that secure the front of the exhaust, removing it as well. This will allow access to the top of the cylinder, which can be removed by unscrewing its screws. Underneath it, you will find the piston that needs to be removed from its connecting rod by eliminating its retaining ring. This will allow you to install a new one and reassemble all the components that were removed earlier.

Replacing the Front Brake Pads on the Piaggio Vespa 50 LX

This guide will illustrate the instructions on how to remove and replace the front brake pads on the Piaggio Vespa 50 LX. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the nuts securing the front wheel to remove it; then use pliers to remove the brake pad retaining clip, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old pads, cleaning the caliper of dirt; press the caliper piston back to allow for the installation of the new pads (of excellent quality). Finally, reassemble the front wheel.
