On 2-stroke engines, it is essential to regularly change the transmission oil; let's see how to carry out the routine maintenance service on the KTM EXC 250 enduro bike. First, place your bike on a stand and begin to unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then clean the drain plug of any metallic residues, as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new gearbox oil, pouring in the correct amount!
