How to Remove the Engine from a KTM EXC 450 F

To remove the engine from a KTM EXC 450 F, extract the engine block from its housing by unscrewing the bolts that secure it to the supports. After extracting it from its place, unscrew the bolts that secure the cylinder head and then the cylinder head itself.

This will allow you to remove the two side crankcase halves and access the underlying components, such as the clutch: at this point, you can work on the internal components, which may need to be replaced. After replacement, reassemble the removed parts and secure the engine.
