The routine maintenance service, including the engine oil and oil filter replacement, must always be performed at the intervals specified by the manufacturer; therefore, we will carry out the service on the KTM SMR 690. First, place your bike on a stand and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Then, unscrew the oil filter covers, removing and replacing the cartridges with new ones. Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new oil suitable for your engine!
