Today we will replace the engine oil and oil filter, performing the regular maintenance service on a KTM SMC R 690, following the instructions below. First, unscrew the oil drain bolt located at the bottom using a socket or spanner; then let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, remove the oil filter by unscrewing the cover screws; replace it with the correct new one and reassemble it. Then fill the engine casing with oil up to the maximum level!
