To replace the gearbox oil on the KTM SX 85, you need to loosen the drain plug of the gearbox, which is located below the casing on the right side of the bike: once the plug is unscrewed, you can collect the used oil in a suitably positioned container until it has completely drained out. Now you can top up with the new oil, inserting it through the breather located under the beginning of the exhaust; once the topping up is complete, you will need to start the bike to allow the oil to circulate.
