In this video, see how to reset the service light on a KTM SMC 690: turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine and scroll through the menu until you reach "odo". Press and hold both buttons located on the outer sides of the dashboard. The light will flash; this is also the moment to change the setting from miles per hour to kilometres per hour or vice versa, or to change the time setting from 12-hour to 24-hour format. When the light stops flashing, it means the service has been reset. Turn off the cluster, and to confirm, you can turn it back on.
