We will also use thread lock to reattach the mirrors, as vibrations on a motorcycle can be a significant issue, and they may loosen over time. Generally, there is no right or left for these mirrors. Remove the screw from the mount, place the mirror on it, turn the mirror towards the rider, and now you can insert the screw without overtightening.
