How do you replace the headlight bulb of the KTM 990RR?

In order to replace the headlight bulb of the KTM 990RR, you need to loosen the screws located on the two side parts of the optical group: once these screws have been loosened, it will be possible to remove the optical group from its housing. By doing so, you can disconnect the connector at the rear and remove the bulb inside the headlight. Once the bulb has been removed, you can proceed by inserting the new one into the optical group. Finally, you will need to connect the connector to the headlight and secure it in its housing.

First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then place a container under the bike, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. Let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter and tighten both the bolt and the replacement. At this point, all that's left to do is to pour the required amount of oil through the designated top hole.
