To change the engine oil on a KTM Duke 390, follow these steps. Ensure the engine is warm but not hot. Position the bike on a flat and stable surface.

Locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the engine and unscrew it with a spanner. Place a container under the plug to collect the used oil. Allow the used oil to drain completely.

Remove and inspect the oil filter, replacing it if necessary. Clean the area around the filter with a clean cloth.

Install a new oil filter, ensuring it is tightened correctly. Remove the oil drain plug and add new oil according to the specifications in the owner's manual.

Check the oil level with the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Ensure you use the recommended engine oil for your KTM Duke 390. Re-tighten the oil drain plug securely.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the new lubrication to circulate. Check the oil level again and add if necessary.

Dispose of the used oil properly at an authorised collection centre.
