Replacing Brake Pads on Kymco Like 150i

Model: Kymco Like 150i
Part: Brake pads

Video tutorial

Unscrew the two bolts that secure the brake caliper to the disc. At this point, remove the covers from the two small bolts related to the pads.

You are already well on your way! Yes, because after these simple steps, you can extract the pads from the caliper. Insert the new pads, spreading the seats if necessary (as the new pads will obviously be thicker than the worn ones you removed).

Now, proceed in reverse by screwing the two bolts related to the pads back in, and then reattach the caliper to the disc. Screw in the last two bolts, and you're done.

How to Replace the Piston on a Derbi GPR 125

To replace the piston on a Derbi GPR 125, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder head to its housing, allowing it to be removed along with the valve cover. This will enable you to access the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine, allowing for its complete removal and revealing the underlying piston. The piston can now be freed from its securing bolts, enabling you to position the new piston onto the corresponding conrod. After installation, refit the engine components.
