This guide shows how to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the Kymco Downtown 300i scooter, as well as the People 300i. First, position the central stand on the scooter and start by removing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, using a socket spanner; then let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, remove the oil filter by unscrewing the cover with a 24 mm spanner; once replaced, you can pour in the new engine oil (in this case, 10w40 grade).
