Today in this guide, we will discover the instructions on how to perform the routine maintenance of the Kymco Xciting S 400i scooter by replacing the motor oil and oil filter. First, we put our scooter on the center stand and begin to unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine, using a socket wrench; we let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. Now, we unscrew the oil filter cover, remove and replace the cartridge with a new one; we unscrew the oil filler cap and pour in the appropriate oil for our engine!

How do you replace the instrument cluster on the BMW R 1200 GS?

In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW R 1200 GS you have to unscrew the screws that secure the windshield, removing it completely; at this point, the three seeger rings that secure the instrument panel to the frame must be removed. At this point it will be possible to remove the instrument panel from inside its housing by disconnecting the connector at the rear. At this point it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the rear part of the instrumentation, removing the old dials and the display. In this way it will be possible to insert the new ones, reinstalling all the instruments.
