The instructions in this guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Kymco Xciting S 400i scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located on the sump, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one, as shown in the video. Finally, top up with new engine oil!
