To replace the variator on the Kymco Agility 50, loosen the screws securing the transmission cover located near the rear wheel on the left side of the scooter. Once the cover is removed, locate the variator on the left: you will need to loosen the central nut that secures it in place, also removing the drive belt around it. After removing the old variator, insert the new one, securing it properly with the nut and repositioning the belt around it.
