Oil change for the Kymco Xtown 300

At the expiration date set by the maintenance plan of the Kymco Xtown 300, we need to replace the engine oil to keep the engine efficient. We put the scooter on the central stand, unscrew and remove the oil filler cap. Using a ratchet wrench with a 17mm socket, we unscrew the drain plug located under the engine, where we will have placed a bowl to collect the used oil. Along with the plug, we will find a spring and a mesh filter that we will clean. After draining all the old oil, we reassemble the plug, with its components, tightening it securely. We pour about 0.9l of 10W40 synthetic oil into the filler hole using a funnel and check the correct level with the dipstick on the cap.
