How to remove and replace the front brake pads on a Lancia Ypsilon. Position your car on a column lift, raising it to a comfortable height for work. Unscrew the pins with a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel, then begin unscrewing the pins of the brake caliper, detaching it from the support. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Fit the new brake pads with all associated pins, tighten the caliper support to the disc, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are securely tightened. Before fitting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper if necessary. Finally, fit the wheel with the pins.
