A Reason Why the Hybrid System of the Lancia Ypsilon May Temporarily Fail

In this video, we can see an issue with the hybrid Lancia Ypsilon where the hybrid battery charging remains stuck at a certain point, sometimes even at zero or near zero, and consequently, the charging LED does not light up; for example, the YouTuber is going downhill, the needle is stuck, and the charging light does not illuminate, and the same happens during braking; further confirmation is the failure of the start & stop system to activate. This problem is caused by the auxiliary battery nearing depletion. This battery is located in the front bonnet and has discharged due to a parasitic drain (a light left on by mistake); after travelling a few miles, the battery recharged, and the system reset itself.
