How to Replace the Door Lock in a Lancia Musa

To replace the electric door lock, you must first remove the door panel. Start by unclipping the plastic cover on the front pillar, directly opposite the external rear-view mirror.

Then, unscrew the fastening screw of the window lift switch, which also houses the opening handle, and remove it by disconnecting the plugs and cable. Next, remove the other screws and unclip the pressure clips along the edges to complete the removal of the panel.

Then, remove the window lift motor and the fastening pins of the lower panel to access the lock, unscrewing the three fastening pins and pulling out the corresponding cable.
