How to Replace the Gear Lever Gaiter on the Lancia Musa

It is quite common for the gear lever gaiter to crack or even tear. If you decide to replace it, it is highly recommended to purchase a genuine leather one that will last practically forever. To replace this gaiter, you do not need to remove the gear knob; simply detach the plastic trim at the base of the gear lever, lift it, disconnect the connectors, and open the Velcro at the top of the gaiter. At this point, use needle-nose pliers to close the fastening clips of the gaiter to remove it and install the genuine leather one.
