These short and simple instructions will show us how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the Land Rover Freelander TD4. First of all, we lift the vehicle and start by loosening the oil drain plug found on the sump, letting the fluid drain into a container for about ten minutes; then we unscrew the oil filter found in the engine compartment, using a socket wrench with an extension, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one. At this point, we top up with the new oil, having the same characteristics.
