First you have to remove the engine from the car and then detach the gearbox. We proceed to remove the timing covers and change the countershafts. To do this, you need to disassemble the crankshaft pulley and the casing of the forward part of the timing system, then we can remove the countershafts and replace them with new ones. Only at this point can we insert the new distribution chain. During the process we evaluate whether it is also necessary to replace or repair the tensioner. Lastly, make sure you put everything perfectly in time so as not to cause damage to the engine.
