To replace the timing chain on a Land Rover Evoque, open the hood to access the components in the engine compartment. On the left side, you will find the timing chain cover, which needs to be removed along with the right front wheel. After removing the inner wheel well cover, you can unscrew the bolts securing the chain tensioner, reducing the tension on the chain and sliding it off the sprockets. At this point, you can install the new chain and reassemble all the components removed earlier.
