To replace the timing chain on the Land Rover Evoque, open the hood to detach the cover on top of the engine block. This will provide access to the gears at the top, around which the chain is located on the left side of the engine block; by loosening the central nuts that secure the gears, you can reduce the tension on the chain, allowing it to be removed.

Once the old chain is removed, you can install the new one by reassembling all the components that were removed earlier.
