DIY Engine Oil Change
Model: Lotus Elise
MK 2
- Years 2004-2009
To perform maintenance safely, lift the vehicle with a jack and place axle stands underneath. Then, unscrew the screws along the perimeter of the rear undertray corresponding to the engine and remove it.
At this point, place a flat container under the sump, unscrew the plug, and let the oil drain completely. After tightening the sump plug, use a socket wrench to unscrew the filter plug, which will be replaced and screwed back into its housing. Open the filler cap and pour in the new oil, ensuring not to exceed the level. Remount the undertray and the job is complete.

How to Clean the Injectors on BMW 3 Series
Let's see how to clean the injectors on BMW 3 Series with the appropriate cleaning kit. Lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod, then disconnect the fuel supply hose that leads to the injectors. Connect the pressure gauge and the cleaning kit to the fuel lines; start running the cleaning fluid from the previously connected kit through the fuel lines of the injectors (repeat this process several times). Disconnect everything and start the engine. Reinstall the fuel line leading to the injectors after cleaning them of any dirt and deposits. by ScegliAuto More videos
