To reset the service light on a Maserati Quattroporte, you must use a diagnostic computer. First, turn on the vehicle's ignition and wait 3 seconds before connecting the computer to the OBD port.

From the computer, select the vehicle for the corresponding year, then choose "Function". This will open the menu for the lights to reset; select the oil light and wait for it to load. Select the "Service" option and wait for the reset to load.

Once completed, turn off the ignition and then turn it back on before disconnecting the computer.
