Removing Front Handle on Mazda 3

To remove the handle from your Mazda 3, simply open the door and using a pointed tool, preferably plastic, remove the rubber cap that will allow you to access the inside of the door. Now unscrew the fastener that holds the fixed part of the handle to the door. All that’s left is to remove the other half of the handle that operates the opening mechanism by sliding it along the direction of the hole you just made accessible. Be careful not to drop the internal screws inside the door, or you risk having to open the entire hatch. This video refers to the 2013 model.
