Instructions for Replacing Gear Oil

Model: Mazda Mpv LW - Years 1999-2006
Part: Transmission fluid

To easily replace the gearbox oil, lift the vehicle on suitable car stands. At the centre of the gearbox, on the side connecting to the engine, you will find the oil drain plug: position a container of appropriate capacity to collect the used oil and unscrew the plug; once the draining is complete, refit it.
Prepare a funnel with a tube to insert into the gearbox fill hole - where the dipstick for level checking is located, below the brake fluid reservoir - with the new oil (check the specifications and quantities by consulting the user and maintenance manual), accessing from the engine bay. Check the level multiple times.
