Instructions for Alternator Replacement

Model: Mazda Mpv LW - Years 1999-2006

Before proceeding with the alternator removal, disconnect the battery terminals. Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift or suitable axle stands, as the alternator is located at the rear right of the engine bay. To remove it, access it from the passenger side wheel arch by removing the driveshaft (place a tray under the driveshaft connection at the gearbox to catch any oil that may spill) and the engine mount. Once you have created the necessary working space, proceed with the alternator replacement.
