The Skyactiv engine of the Mazda CX-3 is an excellent engine, but it has two characteristics that make it particularly susceptible to carbon deposits: in fact, the fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber, not into the intake manifold, so the natural detergents in gasoline do not clean the intake valves; they also have very high compression ratios, increasing the risk of "knocking". The Amsoil Engine Flush additive removes carbon deposits inside the engine, where the oil circulates; it should be added to the old oil before changing it, let it act at idle for 15 minutes and drain it together with the used oil.
