Removing and Replacing the Alternator

This video shows how to remove or replace your alternator. First, lift the car and remove the front wheel on the driver's side, then undo the steering arm to facilitate the installation of the alternator. Next, you will need to remove the brake disc and undo the suspension, then the wheel hub until you are left with the driveshaft joint with the spline. Once all this is done, you can finally remove your alternator. After removing the old alternator, fit the new one, adjusting the belt to the correct tension, and only then can you reassemble everything.
