How to Replace the Battery in a Mazda 3

Model: Mazda 3 - Years 2013-2019
Part: Battery

Video tutorial

To replace the battery in a Mazda 3, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay. Remove any plastic cover protecting it. Loosen the negative terminal clamp and disconnect it, then loosen the positive terminal clamp. Unscrew the bracket or support that secures the battery to the base and carefully lift it out. Insert the new battery in the same position and secure it with the support bracket.

Connect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, ensuring they are tight. Replace the cover, close the bonnet, and start the vehicle to check that the electrical system works correctly.
