Removing the Windscreen Pillar Trim

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

To remove the plastic trim of the windscreen pillar, note that the pillar is secured with two push clips (one at the bottom and one at the top) and is held in place by two additional supports that it slides into. To disassemble it, first disengage the push clips and then slide the trim upwards until it comes out of the guides. Once removed, it is much easier to understand the fastening system and then repeat the operation in reverse for reassembly: slide it into the guides and then engage the clips.
