Replacing the Fan Switch on Mazda 3

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Blower motor

Remove the plastic strip located under the central air vents, extending to the top of the glove compartment. Use a small flat screwdriver or a plastic wedge for this. Once done, you will have freed two screws that you can now remove. After this, pull the car radio unit from its housing to access the back of the switch. Extract the switch by pressing on the two tabs and pulling it out. Proceed in reverse order until fully reassembled and check the correct operation of the switch.
