Removing the air vent from the dashboard of the Mazda 3? Remove the vent using a pair of needle-nose pliers, here’s how. Release the metal clip located in the air vent and then detach it from inside the dashboard, prying between the vent and the plastic trim until the piece disconnects. After detaching the air vents, install the new air vents in the dashboard (always use a non-scratch lever). Reassemble the metal/plastic clip. Test the correct operation of the air vent.
