Interior Light Bulb Replacement

Model: Mazda 6 MK 1, GG - Years 2002-2008

To access the courtesy light in the cabin, open the sunglasses holder located above the internal rear-view mirror. You will find two hex screws at the top; after removing them, act on the locking tabs located on the sides of the light unit, being careful not to force them too much. At this point, the light unit is extracted and you have access to the non-functioning bulb. Rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise and gently pull it out. After replacing the bulb, check that the metal tabs are in good condition before reinserting the light unit into its housing.
