How does the tailgate stay open when the gas struts are unloaded on the Mazda Bongo Brawny

Model: Mazda Bongo Brawny - Years 1995-2005
Part: Car door

When the car starts to be a few years old and the gas shock absorbers that allow the tailgate to be kept open have run out, it is possible to solve the problem with the use of two aluminum profiles measuring 20 mm by 20 mm which must be cut to a length of 21.5 cm. Then obtain a piece of plastic with one side provided with adhesive and cut small 20 x 20 mm squares to size to be positioned at the ends of the aluminum profile. At this point we can try to open the tailgate and position them on the shock absorber stem, in this way the tailgate itself will remain open in safety.

How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag on a Fiat Panda

How to remove the steering wheel airbag on a Fiat Panda? Before removing the car's steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Here's how to proceed with the removal: remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the screws/fasteners of the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located) using a socket wrench or screwdriver. Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. For reassembly of the airbag: connect the power connectors and fit the airbag with the screws.
