Replacing the battery inside the smart key of your Mazda 3 requires just a few simple steps to be done correctly. First, locate the small button on the lower part of the cover and press it to remove the rear cover. Next, using a flat-head screwdriver, open the cover and remove the battery cover. At this point, you have access to the exhausted battery and just need to replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the various components correctly and you're done.
