How to replace the battery in the key fob for a Mazda 3? Here's how: take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a lever to separate the two covers and open half of it (as shown in the video). Remove the flat battery from the housing (after separating the two halves of the covers), take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic battery holder in the key fob cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check the key fob's proper functioning.
