In this video tutorial, we are shown how to perform the service light reset procedure on a Mazda CX9. The operation is not difficult and does not even require too much time. First, we get into the car and press the start and stop button once to turn on the instrument panel without starting the vehicle. At this point, we will need to use the controls located in the center of the car, near the gear shift. By rotating the knob, we select the items on the display in order: application, then vehicle status monitor, and then maintenance. Now we select scheduled and finally reset. We go back to the settings and turn off the instrument panel; at this point, we press the button above the odometer and hold it down for a few seconds while turning on the instrument panel again. We release the button and turn off the instrument panel again. To check the outcome of the procedure, we simply need to turn on the instrument panel again.
