If the oil warning light continues to illuminate on the instrument cluster of your first-generation Mazda CX-9 (2010) despite a recent oil change, you will need to perform the following manual reset. First, enter the cabin and ensure you start the procedure with the ignition off. Then, press and hold the button located above the fuel gauge while simultaneously turning on the ignition. Wait a few seconds, and as soon as the service light turns off, release the button.
