Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. To replace it, open the glove compartment door, disengage the side damper, and press on the sides of the door to retract the rubber stops that act as limiters, allowing you to fully tilt it down. At this point, you can access the air duct and disengage the cap from the filter housing, extract it, remove any dirt residue inside the filter box, and insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is respected, indicated by an arrow on the filter itself.
