Remove the left front door panel of a Subaru Forester. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws in the space of the upper door opening lever and the screws present in the handle (if applicable).

Remove the window switch panel located in the door panel. Finally, pull the panel off with your hands and detach it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable).

Perform maintenance inside the door and then refit all the pieces.
