Dismantling the Armrest

Part: Center console tunnel

Video tutorial

The covering of the armrest tends to wear out due to constant friction with the elbow, sometimes even resulting in holes. You can replace it or have it reupholstered in leather (choosing a quality covering will last much longer than the original).

In any case, you need to dismantle it. Start by opening and lifting the armrest, then remove the plate covering the base of the hinge and unscrew the underlying screws. Move to the back of the armrest and remove the other rear plate, completing the dismantling before proceeding in reverse for reinstallation.
