Detailed instructions - In this video, we see how to remove the radio from a Mercedes C-Class W203 without removing the ashtray: we open the compartment and, using a flashlight, we go between it and the air conditioning unit. We remove the two screws and pry the top of the component to move it to one side. Now we can remove the two lower screws holding the radio in place. Using the flashlight, we remove the screws inside the air vents so we can pry the top and remove them. Next, we remove two screws at the top of the chrome panel containing the dashboard controls. We lift it without disconnecting the electrical part. We remove the two upper screws holding the radio in place and slide it out. We disconnect the electrical connector and antenna and we are ready to install a new unit, maybe a 2DIN.
