How to remove the door panel of a Mercedes SLK Class? Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the boot. Begin disassembly: remove the plastic cover above the handle on the panel using a lever. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the fastening screws located in the plastic handle and the door opening lever. Once all screws are removed, use the lever to detach the window switch panel and all plastic clips securing the door. Pull off the door panel by hand, disconnecting any power connectors and the release cable.
