How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes E-Class?

The Service indicator shown on the instrument panel of the Mercedes E-Class can be reset by turning the key to turn on the instrument panel, noting that the maintenance indicator will be active. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you will need to hold down the button 0 located on the left side of the instrument panel. By holding it down, a message will appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval: you will then need to release this button and hold it down again for a few seconds. In this way, the Service indicator will be reset and the panel can be turned off.
